I'm in love with an angel

I thought love was hurt, it could never be,

No not for a girl like me,

But when you said you loved me,

I thought I could fly,

In my wildest dreams, I could never have found somebody like you,

While I don't comprehend,

You made me believe,

I found my dreams,

They are there in your eyes,

And because of you.

I believe in miracles,

That there are angels on earth.

And you are a light in my life,

Tonight I feel,

A love so real,

Hold me close,

Never let go,

You are God's masterpiece,

You opened my eyes,

To who I can be,

I know now, tonight

Here,

With your arms around me,

I'm in love with an angel.

I know it's true,

You rescued me,

My knight in shining armor,

My dream made real,

And I am in love with an angel…
